Dr. Esther Tak

Meet Dr. Esther Tak, ND

From a young age, Dr. Tak knew she wanted to be in medicine. Growing up, acupuncture and utilizing Eastern herbs to optimize her health was part of the norm. She appreciated how in-depth the practitioner wanted to learn about the entirety of her medical history and how they focused on the body as a whole and not just on a particular part. Through personal family experiences and attending health brigades, she also witnessed life-changing conventional treatments and procedures.

But it left her wondering how the two different approaches to healthcare can be blended.
During her senior year of college, she was introduced to naturopathic medicine (big shout out to her sister-in-law!). This was exactly what she had been searching for and the rest is history. She decided to pursue a career that blends the conventional field and a form of medicine deeply rooted in tradition.

After receiving her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from NUNM in 2016, she completed a three year residency focusing on family medicine, women’s health, and regenerative medicine. Prior to her medical training, she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Pacific Union College.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Dr. Tak exploring the great outdoors, being a workout enthusiast, and spending time with her fiancé, family, and 11 year old cocker spaniel, Tucker.
